I vaguely remember this Paul Kemp and remember reading about the 2012 shooting of his BIL.

I am sorry for his loss and empathize with him however when I read stuff like the following I have to roll my eyes:

So much that I skimmed and then stopped short of finishing it.

Wasn't it known that Forsyth was a CHL permit holder and believed he was trying to stop the shooter with his own gun when shot and killed.
I expressly remember one of the witnesses interviewed that afternoon mentioning three men with guns.
1) The shooter.
2) The guy, who later came forward and was interviewed on a couple of news channels, that drew his weapon and tried to take aim, but didn't shoot because he didn't have a clear background.
3) Then Forsyth.
Forsyth himself would think his BIL is a douche because of this crap. Just like I do.
