Primer prices?

I know where you shop, know that store well.

A true Port Angelander knows that Swains doesn't really have everything.

But I've never seen a store run so well though, they have earned my business several times over.

My wife grew up in that area, with family going back well over a century. My father-in-law still lives next door to the log house he was born in.

My brother-in-law worked at Swains for a while.

I remember the good old days at White Elephant in Spokane, when $10 could get your choice of a brick of CCI Mini-Mags, a brick of CCI Primers, or a pound of the powder of your choice. Of course, shortly after those days, I also recall getting a brand new 1977 Camaro Z28 for under six grand….

I have seen a bunch of primers at sub $125 a brick, the ones listed at $200+ were large rifle primers, are those in shorter supply than the rest?

those have been gun show prices for a while now. I personally sold a brick of rifles primers for $125.00 a few months ago.

CCI small rifle bench rest are $8.80 per 100 at Sportsman's Warehouse. They only let you buy 200 at a time.

If you're mail ordering the primers, by the time you pay for hazmat, sales tax, and shipping, the primers are about $100/1k (3x). Natcho's allows you to buy more primers than does Brownells or MidSouth.

Buy what you can, $3 a sleeve primers ain't coming back anytime soon, maybe never.
