This is an original 1863 Springfield Rifle in excellent condition. This is not just a brilliant display piece but a great shooter as well. I have taken this rifle hunting many times and it has never failed me. The bore is in very nice condition and the accuracy is uncanny. Make no mistake, these are becoming more and more rare and this one is easily one of the best examples of this legendary firearm I have ever seen.

This is a muzzle loading rifle so there is no FFL or paperwork involved. Comes as shown, with original sling. If you have questions please ask. I am located in Portland. Cash Only sale, no trades.​
