US Military Gun Cleaning Kit with modern additions. This is a gun cleaning kit that was owned by a family member - unsure if it was during Korea or Vietnam. The box has a broken lock latch, but will still stay closed. The box is made by the Hamilton Steel Co. of Ohio. The tray does not stay in position. There are various militaria in here as well as some more modern cleaning rods and brushes. There is an Auto Lite Miner's Lamp that was used for putting Lamp Black on one's face.. It is dirty, but all the mechanisms operate. I put a flint in and it sparks nicely. I removed the flint to preserve the spring. The Auto Lite Miner's Lamp to create Lamp Black Face typically goes for around $45 on eBay. There are also some military fluids.. See pics for more detail...
