Prepping for Clinton gun ban #2 on a budget

To the OP: high-cap mags and ammo would be what I stocked up on. If you cant afford an AR right now, buy a receiver and magazines and get help building one as funds allow. Consider selling guns such as revolvers or bolt action rifles (which will continue to be legal after November) in order to fund the purchase of "black" guns that wont.

I find it interesting a member called people dingbats for voting their conscious in the primary, then proceed to boast about voting their conscious, by not voting at all.

If it's all about a person's conscious, which I respect, then it's not possible for only some to be dingbats. That would make you a dingbat in my book.

Washington is broken and I can't think of anyone to give this country a better chance than a guy like trump. He will either continue to turn Washington upside down, or Washington will get the best of him. That's my short take on it. Like it or not... respect it. did you ever consider that the Trump followers are DEMOCRATS....the intelligent democrats that realize the democratic party is an embarrassment to the republic, the democratic party has been Hijacked by progressive, liberal socialists....the democratic party is gone............. and we are all pissed, so is Trump, so he ran under the republican ticket to oppose the degradation of our country by the progressive, liberal socialists/democratic party....this is why the old guard republican party is upside down.....we hijacked the republican party & I believe most of tax paying Trump supporting Americans want to see him succeed with glory or tear the govt house down .........if it cant be fixed then to CLEAN HOUSE & start over.......... to the OP sorry to see this thread go sideways ....my suggestion is to buy what ever guns you really want NOW....clinton will pick her supreme court justice, then her first move will be to allow the public to sue gun manufacturers..(not infringing your rights ) ..this will incur billions to be set aside for settlements......the cost of guns will go up, BGC on ammo and a tax per bullet like in washington state..begin the end of shooting on public lands so you must go to designated ranges.......if she cant get federal laws they will push the agenda state by state till we cant afford to shoot any longer and she will continue to divide the country just as the current administration is hell bent on doing

To be clear, I have some reservations about Trump. I'm not a complete Trump fan, nor am I a die hard republican. I vote my conscious. That is, I vote for what I believe to be the best choice. Putting a side reservations and taking a leap of faith my vote has been and is for Trump. If he accomplishes half of what he's touted I'll be happy.

And, he may just leave the perfect environment for the GOP to get back in and focus on those core values.

I'd be more worried about the proposed WA or OR "assault weapons" ban than the federal ban.
The state level legislation can move fast and there are a heck of a lot more libbies in-state.

I currently have a very restrictive budget ($20/week - aren't unexpected bills great??) Hopefully it will get MUCH better soon, but it might not. I want to have the basics; I'm not worried about buying an entire fancy gun at this time. Here is my planning:

30rd. or more AR15 magazines
Stripped lower receivers
Threaded AR15 barrels
Adjustable stocks
Handgun magazines, but only more than 10 rounds.

I have a list of guns I would like to purchase in the future, and I figure I should only buy magazines greater than 10 rounds for those guns. If I never buy the guns, at least I will have some trading stock.

I am not too worried about ammo right now. I assume we will be able to buy ammo in the foreseeable future, we will just have to have permits to buy it. (Hopefully NOT!!)

So, what would you stock up on given a very restrictive budget to prep for a potential gun ban (either federal or state)?

To want to have the basics logically leads one to conclude you have nothing.
I'd start with a fighting handgun and learn how to use it.. that means tens of thousands of rounds down the pipe and then you'll need/want to shoot until the day you die.. you know.. zombies and or beer cans. That means the best way to attain that goal/status is to reload. Get 30,000/300,000 primers, 10/100lbs a powder and a ton/ten a lead and various other accoutrements just for starters.
When the flag flies, a lower or a thousand geewhiz rifles and a million rounds for it ain't gonna do you no good.
The flag always flies and you will never have a rifle on/with you.
Master a serious pistol first.
