I'm curious what folks here see coming down the road in 2010. I seem to always think in terms of guns and politics but let's not limit it to that. I'll start with a few.

1. I see big losses for Democrats in 2010. No more majority. The pendulum is swinging right.
2. I think the economy will get slightly better in the last half of the year.
3. I think ammo prices will drop to "near" pre-Obama levels (old levels plus ~10%)
4. I think used gun prices will drop and new guns will be fully stocked.
5. I see more states passing laws expanding gun rights. Oregon won't be one of them. Washington will go the other way.
6. I hate to say it but I think we're going to get hit with another terrorist attack here in the US. The Feds just don't seem to be paying attention.
7. Isreal will hit Iran. (I've lost this bet before though)
8. I predict that I personally will average one new gun per month. :)

I'll see if I can add some more. I guess I'm a little bit optimistic. I heard someone say once that "It's never as bad as they say and it's never as good as they say". What do you guys think?

A bit optimistic?! Hoo Boy!

1. Who gives a rats butt! Both parties are owned by corporate America.
2. Put your glasses on. No sustainable recovery is near with unemployment so high.
3. Prices will stay where they are. As long as we buy, they'll sell.
4. Guns aren't that unavailable now. (have to agree with you on the used ones, nobody will give up their CBOB to me :()
5. Laws will probably tighten, similar to what CA. did with high caps.
6. Another terrorist attack?! That's not optimistic, that's real world.
7. Israel will hit Iran. (I'll probably be wrong too)
8. Maybe one every six months...I'm unemployed.
9. Continued economic disorder, getting worse as the year progresses.
10. Stock market hitting lower than this years 6500ish.
and finally...I see family and close friends getting closer...the time is nigh!

well.....

1.Health care will be pushed through, My taxes will skyrocket to pay for it.
2.The health care I have will be considered a cadillac plan and get taxed 40%,or the company will drop it altogether.
3.I will have to start hunting 365 to help cover the added taxes.Shhhhh
4.I wont be able to buy as many firearms.
5.The pres will have a close call. You can use your imagination on that statement.
6.Pelosi will have another face lift and become more spooky.
7.Gold will become a government ONLY item again.
8.We will have an over abundance (more so) of illegals coming in to live off our tax money.
9.Ammo will slightly lower in price.
AND worst of all.......
10. The price of Viagra will go up even more!

Couldnt resist #10:D

It's going to be ok. If we can just print enough money all our problems will be solved and the economy will boom! Just give it some more time... print more money... ya ya that'll work, just print more money... printing more money will work, won't it?

Ohhhh!...and I'm depressing!?:s0114:

Ain't gonna happen JJ.

Funny how you guys think Israel will attack Iran but don't think that loone in Iran will attack the west. Iran has been atacking the west for some time in Iraq and they sure haven't stopped making nukes. I still say they will use them on the west, can't say where but sure as heck they will.

jj

EU, China and maybe Russia will push for one currency as the dollar tanks. Oh but wait like sbryson said I'm pretty sure we can just print more money. Although the presses are hot, and were running low on ink....

Inflation inflation and more inflation. Like we've never seen. If you aint stocked up by May, which is when it will jump, most so called middle income families will be living on oatmeal by the end of next winter. By late summer folks will be selling anything they can to be able to have the gas to commute to their jobs, if they have one. More people will be hunting next fall because they have to, in groups, car-pooling to hunting areas.

If one has a front yard, side yard, a plot by the driveway, turn them into vegetable gardens, instead of flowers or grass. Start composting or acquiring manure from farmers, feedlots, now, because the cost of commercial fertilizer will soar, once word gets out that available commercial produce will be unaffordable. Start putting rain barrels out to capture all available water for gardens. Unusual cold weather will reduce the productivity of fruits and vegetables from other countries, as well as the economic collapse of California, which will virually halt the production of commercial produce.

Ok..... Anybody know of any good depression medicine.....?

Ok..... Anybody know of any good depression medicine.....?

Lastest studies has shown that 70% of all people on anti-depressants, do not AT ALL benefit from them. Anti-depressants have been shown to benefit only those suffering from high degree Severe depression. The anti depressant industry reaps $10 billion on average yearly. Dr's over medicate and inappropriately medicate, rather than insist that people change their lifestyles, and their attitudes. But Americans want quick fixes....

The best anti depression medicine, I believe is information and the ability to change to meet the demands of the situation. Plan for the worst and hope for something better. We've been living high on the hog in this country, and waste more than we actually have. Time to learn something new. Our great grandparents, and grandparents all had to adapt and overcome. That is just life.
