I saw this ad on the forum...one of those banner ads...
Gen3 Folding adapter

This is in my opion a misleading/predatory ad...It makes folks think these adapters might be LAW or Sylvan Arms folders. In truth they are the cheap Chinese knockoffs.
They advertise a big discount - but the exact same Chinesium component is sold on eBay for less than $25 with shipping from a vendor in Florida.

"List $289.99...on sale for $73.68"...I don't think so.

Just sayin'.
Mods have been notified. Noobs will get cheated. I know, their fault for lack of due diligence.

Stay safe

If people are purposefully trying to pull one over on the ignorant masses here, they shouldn’t be allowed to, regardless the loss of site revenue from ads.

If that’s what they’re doing (I haven’t seen that ad), it gives the whole forum a black eye. Bad enough this site has succumb to all the woke PC BS and commie participation acceptance.

There’s a time to move along and a time to do something. Think this one falls somewhere in the middle so let the man do what he feels is right.

Most ads are being served directly from an ad service and are not being individually selected by the owner or management. They use various meta data to keep it somewhat subject relevant, but there can be large gaps as well.

While I can't prove it, I'm sure @Joe Link isn't sitting in a dark basement laughing hysterically while picking out specific ads that will roll the pennies in while knowingly advertising product that's a scam.

He's probably never seen the ad either.
