Looking at upgrading my 22lr rifle scope. Currently I have a Riton 2-7 32mm. It's a great scope and for the price I paid, has served me very well. I'm going to put it on another 22lr and replace it with something nicer.

I'm leaning towards the Sig Sauer whiskey 3 4-12 50mm which goes for around $225 which is in my price range. I was hoping to stay under $300.

Anyway, just curious if anyone had any suggestions? I really like the side parallax focus so that's something I'd like to keep. 1" or 30mm, no preference.

I run a Vortex Viper 6-24x44 on my most precise rimfire.
With adjustable parallax there is no reason not to run high magnification.

With a rifle that can put dime groups or less at 50y, you gotta see the holes to keep them going through it.

Like this;

With a 30mm tube, it's a beast but doesn't disappoint.
