I'm 75 and glad I lived in the good years. Here's a thought: an article talked about American film industry being in cahoots with China in making movies that fit China's requirement, so Chlina will pay a lot for American movies, as long as they follow their criterium .
What I'm saying is, America is slowly, in small increments, is being pushed towards communism . That's correct, it seems to be filtering down to that final essence. Anyway that's my thoughts and research, comrades.

China is more socialist than communist, and yep sure as he'll we are being pushed down that path, from what I see. It's all about "the greater good" and minimizing individual rights.

I once read that when East Germany rejoined Germany it was a problem for people who were unused to making all their own decisions. Communist Gov had done all that for them. They kinda missed that.

Am I the only Old Geezer who wonders why Americans seem to need everything done for them, whether turn-by-turn GPS or no more kids making Model Anythings, car "keys" that open the door as you approach, whether or not you want it open, &c, &c, &c?

Hopefully this is just typical Old Guy thinking, and not that Americans now want someone else, e.g. Gov't or some lawyer, to do everything for them. Everything.
