This doesn't look like the typical Para with the longer barrel and bipod.

This is more like an LMG or squad rifle (except no belt fed). I had a Valmet M78 like that except it did not have the para stock:



Does this have a heavier profile barrel? The Valmet M78 did.

This is more of a crossbreed between the two. It is A LMG with A para stock, has a longer heavy barrel but is still very balanced even with having the folder. I too had an M78 and I wish I still did.

The Valmet took modified H&K mags

The 308 Galils take there own proprietary mags, kind of a cross between am M-14 mag and an AK mag.
