It's been about 5 years since I ordered powder online (except for two orders from American Reloading) and that was from Cabelas. A tip I have learned from others who have ordered powder recently is to have an account all set up in advanced. The popular powders go out of stock very quickly these days. Powder Valley has an interesting cart set up. When you add an in stock powder it holds it in your cart for 20 mins and removes it from your cart.

I would suggest you keep a list of powders you want to buy and a max shipped price you are willing to pay. If you have to dilly dally around trying to figure out what powders you can use, you stand a good chance of missing out on others.

Thanks for the heads up. A2520 and PP Varmint incoming for me!

Saw some Hodgdon Hi-Skor 700X at the Bi-Mart in Cheney, marked at $19 and change, couple days ago they had 4 - 1lb bottles. So please don't overpay for powder. There beginning to make a showing. Picked up some CFE 223 at the General Store in Spokane for $28/lb

I will add that if anyone wants to go in on a bulk order for powder I would do that. That way we can split up shipping costs. Essentially a small group buy(2-3 guys).

IMR4350 8 pounders in stock at Brownells. Might sell out quick.

They also have CCI #41 primers, 2 brick limit. Use code SRG for $20 off $250 or code SRH for $50 of $550.

H335 in stock at PV only three left.

I was watching the inventory on this H335, it was 3 left when I first spotted it, then it went down to 2 left, then it went to in stock. Evidently they found more of it as I was able to add 5 to my window shopping cart. So H335 fans buy away while you can.

Nevermind it looks like the 5 in my cart may be the last of them. I am about ready to remove it from my cart. 3, 2, 1.

Brownells has 8 pound jugs of IMR3031 in stock for $250 plus hazmat and shipping.

Check these codes to save a little on the purchase.

Some background on IMR3031:

I noticed that powder prices at most online retailers are lower than prices at Hodgdons website. Is that normal or are retailers behind in with increasing prices? With primers it took a little bit of time for retailers to jack the prices up and I wonder if the same thing will happen with powder?
