Posting pictures

How does everyone get such big pictures in their posts?

When i go to attach a picture, i'm limited to 97KB which is a pretty small picture.

Try to resize in photobucket... But I have not had a problem yet..

And are you hosting your pictures somewhere else? and if so where.

Pictures are on my hard drive.

Step 1 sign up for a photobucket account
step 2 upload your pictures
Step 3 once your pictures are uploaded the 4th URL address is for forum posts.
step 4 copy the forth address under the picture and paste it in a forum you want the picture.

Why does it come as a small thumbnail from photobucket and not pasted on the thread in aa big pic like many others out there?

In photobucket, for every picture there should be a "Direct Link" address that you can copy-n-paste. You paste this address into the dialogue box that comes up when you use the "Insert Image" button while editing your post - this is a little yellow button right of center along the button bar that looks like this:
