It's a start. Other than deciding on 7.62x39, I am not sure how I am going to make this one look. It always feels like building a hot rod or custom bike rather than a rifle

Basic build. Spent money where it counts, HAMR optic, Lancer mags, Criterion barrel, Young's Mfg BCG, GG&G irons. Everything else is good but not expensive. Runs like a top no matter what I feed it.

Here's probably the most GUCCI AR I've built to date... dominated by Geissele and KAC parts so it's going to be hard for me to beat. Not much in the way of standard milspec anything...Except for the forward assist(I will fix that in minute) and the very few springs and detents that really have to be.
I'm actually afraid to add up the cost
I still have plans to Cerakote it Multicam Black in the near future and the Zev G17 to match. And I'm in the market to trade for a NV height T2 mount, and TNVC sells a tiny Steiner IR laser thats on my radar.

About 95% complete. Still need to make a cheek riser. AR10 in 6.5cm. 31" octagon and fluted barrel. Homemade adjustable gas block and stock. Vortex scope. The scope riser looks a little high but it fits my giant head.

Just like the title says. This is the thread to show off your new purchases, builds, and gather ideas. I`ll be starting it off with my latest, SAA SA15 I scored for $600 OTD used from SAA Saturday afternoon. Some of you may recognize it from TFB, it was yesterday`s POTD (which makes me very happy). It`s obvious someone was playing with RIT dye and ended up making it Jacksonville Jags Blue. Still, I like that it`s been dubbed "The Makita M4". The sharper-eyed observers (or those looking to oust me as a fake, egads!) may also notice the differences between TFB`s photo and the ones I am now uploading. To explain those discrepancies I was playing around in some photo-editing stuff. The plan now is to install either a Free-floated rail system gifted from a friend or B5 keymods as well as B5`s SOPMOD butt and a 1-4X scope in my Burris PEPR mount. I`d also like to replace the barrel with a 16-inch match grade 1:8 with a Wylde chamber. I`d have sent some better photos to TFB but I couldn`t keep my hands steady in the rain.
