Yes me too! 302/t5 was a really cool swap in volvos. Or of course a chevy 350. Jags that run made a great book on the 350 swap
I swapped in a Chevy 307 to a 1978 BJ40 short wheel base Toyota Landcruiser quite some time ago. The thing almost stood on its rear wheels when I gave the throttle a boot full.
I never took any pics of the conversion but that engine looked right at home.

I had a, "small" stock and lock just cluttering up my bench and I decided that my Grandson needed a muzzle loader. (his mother later said he didn't)
I had to shop around for a 9mm barrel, but I used another piece of that bent strut from the boat for a barrel band/ forearm cap. I may lengthen the forearm later if I can find a matching piece of wood.

Is it English Walnut? It looks to be a great looking piece of timber.
Every kid should have a grandad like you.

Well I didn't measure everything too precise but I will try to provide the recipe.

2cups ground razor clams
1-1/2 cups chopped bacon pieces
2cups cubed red potatoes
1 red onion diced
4 green onions diced
2 stalks of celery diced
1T chopped garlic
3T flour
1pint heavy cream
1pint milk
1cup chicken broth
1cup clam juice
1T clam base dissolved into 24oz of hot water
Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, thyme, basil, dill, all to taste

Brown bacon bits it large pot drain excess grease leaving some behind. Add celery and red onions and sauté until soft(5min). Add green onion and garlic and sauté another couple minutes. Add flour and mix in well for a couple more minutes. Add all liquids, spuds and spices and bring to boil stirring often. Simmer for 25 minutes adding clams for the last 15minutes. Stir often. Pairs well with a Russian imperial stout beer. Cheers!

One question, where did you get clam base? I can't find it near me (Tacoma).

I'm working on a light weight off road adventure support trailer to tow behind my 48 Willys jeep I have the Aluminum box frame fleshed out. I still have to cut the Micarta Blocks to form the curves on the top edges and front sides. The frame will have a plywood liner and pink foam board insulation then a .040" Aluminum skin. The trailer box is 37" wide 66" long and 24" tall Its only job is to haul Fuel, Water, The kitchen, and the Camp (tent cots canopy table chairs toilet etc) All the soft gear (sleeping bags pillows clothes food toys etc will ride in the back of the Willys (which has an insulated Aluminum hard top) Also in the Willys will be two small fridges a Power box (with 2 100AH Lithium Batteries and charger inverters etc) More water more fuel vehicle support stuff and a bunch of misc.

We have hauled pretty much equal to everything that will be going except the power box in just the Willys on as long as a 9 day 2002 mile trip. So the trailer will greatly expand the amount of cargo room. It will also with some rearranging allow us to drag home a large game animal should we get lucky.
