Cool is very subjective…WHY??? so many "cooler" cars to do that to.
Lots of reasons for this swap, but bottom line is, its cool to me. Feel free to do a swap on a cooler car and post it!

I swapped in a Chevy 307 to a 1978 BJ40 short wheel base Toyota Landcruiser quite some time ago. The thing almost stood on its rear wheels when I gave the throttle a boot full.Yes me too! 302/t5 was a really cool swap in volvos. Or of course a chevy 350. Jags that run made a great book on the 350 swap
Is it English Walnut? It looks to be a great looking piece of timber.I had a, "small" stock and lock just cluttering up my bench and I decided that my Grandson needed a muzzle loader. (his mother later said he didn't)
I had to shop around for a 9mm barrel, but I used another piece of that bent strut from the boat for a barrel band/ forearm cap. I may lengthen the forearm later if I can find a matching piece of wood.

In all seriousness I'd like the recipe if you wouldn't mind posting it.Made a wicked batch of razor clam chowder from scratch using the diggers ground up and my homemade bacon. Best chowder I have ever had!

Thanks for posting, it's going in my saved recipe folder.Well I didn't measure everything too precise but I will try to provide the recipe.
2cups ground razor clams
1-1/2 cups chopped bacon pieces
2cups cubed red potatoes
1 red onion diced
4 green onions diced
2 stalks of celery diced
1T chopped garlic
3T flour
1pint heavy cream
1pint milk
1cup chicken broth
1cup clam juice
1T clam base dissolved into 24oz of hot water
Salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, thyme, basil, dill, all to taste
Brown bacon bits it large pot drain excess grease leaving some behind. Add celery and red onions and sauté until soft(5min). Add green onion and garlic and sauté another couple minutes. Add flour and mix in well for a couple more minutes. Add all liquids, spuds and spices and bring to boil stirring often. Simmer for 25 minutes adding clams for the last 15minutes. Stir often. Pairs well with a Russian imperial stout beer. Cheers!
One question, where did you get clam base? I can't find it near me (Tacoma).Well I didn't measure everything too precise but I will try to provide the recipe.
