Ebony is pretty heavy. I believe Ipe is also found in Africa. He did say the wood was from, and native to, Africa. It's heavy and dense as all get-out. I s'pose I should just ask him again.

I relate. Like the Indian chief who sits by the TP and waits for the braves to come back and tell their story and he can tell his.My eye sight is not as good anymore so I let the young kids with good eye do most of the welding and I turn the wrench's and tell story about the good old days.
Now you need to build a transport helicopter...After 2 years finished building my sea Kayak. Now just need to figure out how to get it to the water

I have a fender Squier and fool around with my US Clapton looking blk/white Strat I bought in 1986 from guitar Center. But I promise you nobody wants to see and especially hear me gig...Thanks man, but I must confess, I have tube amps here but no Marshall stacks. Truth be known, I gigged for years with 30 watts and that was plenty. The backline you see there is on my laptop and Mr. lead guitar from the Three and a Half Inch Nails is standing on a cigar box on the keyboard.
OMFG! You really had me going on that backline! Now that you mention it, I can see the monitor frame and the F11 and F12 keys! You're a funny guy, PTFE6string!The backline you see there is on my laptop and Mr. lead guitar from the Three and a Half Inch Nails is standing on a cigar box on the keyboard.
