Thanks! A labor of love for me, and since I can't sit still for more than a few hours, a way to keep me occupied.
My little Austin gasser is the quickest of my hotrods, but never run it 1/4 mile as it's fast enough in the 1/8th mile to make me stop at that. It goes through the 1/8 mile traps at 100 mph, and guessing it would be around 140 mph in the 1/4, so I'd rather not see if it does.

I needed a new spatula. IMG_20200522_153008800.jpg

Your work is awesome! Do you sell that stuff? I've been looking for some really nice wooden kitchen utensils. I used to have some stuff like that, but lost it in the divorce.
The wooden stuff I've found is made from softwoods and isn't finished very well. And needs a lot more sanding and polishing, too...

A buddy of mine that I befriended in Afghanistan made me these candle holders.
I think he said the wood was some form of ironwood. Do you recognize it?

He did say the wood was from, and native to, Africa. It's heavy and dense as all get-out. I s'pose I should just ask him again. o_O
