Nice but that's second most recent… and 3 of them were bought this year… the 6" 7 shot Ruger is one of the 3… the Colt Anaconda 6" is the newest… then the Ruger 6" 7 shot… then the 4" Colt King Cobra and the Wylie Clapp 3" Ruger started it all

I also have a Colt detective special and a Ruger super single six with both cylinders.
The top one in the picture is my Smith & Wesson 629 44 Mag. With 7 1/2" barrel.
The lower one is my Smith & Wesson 686 357 Mag with 6" barrel.
The Ruger LCR is a 22 Mag.

Might swap grips from this older bodyguard and see which stings less with .357

I found that slightly longer and it helps. Hogue is good and I'm sure someone else has designed a decent padded grip

Ummm DW is good but I think Colt makes a great 44! I'm not taking anything away from DW! I think they are the way 44 should be.

It's not mine yet but I want to know Model and approximately manufacturer date. Also if it's worth $400. I don't mind re blueing it. 4" barrel 38spc S&W. I can get more pictures if necessary.

If there's no model # on the frame under the crane it's, pre '57? I don't remebber if it was '55 or '57 they started assigning model # to them. Before that was "Combat Masterpiece".

I'm no expert. I just know enough to be dangerous.
I have a Target Masterpiece that was my granddads. Presumably a pre model 15.

If my eyes are not deceiving me it wouldn't be its first reblue.

My guess is it is a .38 Military & Police (post war, pre model 10)
