I have two with the hole and I installed the plug on each of them. They fit well and the finish is a good match to the factory finish. I will post pics tonight when I get home.

How was the install? I've got a couple spring kit to do also, been a little intimidated to tear into them

The instal was pretty simple. I think there is a YouTube showing the instal. It took me about 1/2 hour because I was being super careful. Having a good screwdriver set is a must.

I'll look into the video. I have a couple hard recoiling S&W's that have never locked up but it's always a possibility. Plus, it's an ugly addition to the revolver.

10mm, she's a beaut'!!!! I was looking for one of these a while back when I got my first moon clip revolver. Now you'll need a BMV Mooner tool, hands down the best.
