I found that slightly longer and it helps. Hogue is good and I’m sure someone else has designed a decent padded grip

If there's no model # on the frame under the crane it's, pre '57? I don't remebber if it was '55 or '57 they started assigning model # to them. Before that was "Combat Masterpiece".The shop says it has no markings so it’s possible
My guess is it is a .38 Military & Police (post war, pre model 10)
