Added this one recently. Most absurd of days today, but it was most delightful shooting steel plates in the sunshine this afternoon, well, before storm rolled in. Assuredly, one must take the good with the bad. Haha.

Bought this Model 69 Smith L frame 44 Magnum in 2015. Great handling and shooting 44. Great action for DA work as the pic shows. At least for me.

I did the 4473 on a vintage satin stainless python today. Everything is right, tight, and the trigger is so much better than the 2020 python it's not even funny. The pachy's are going in the trash. Rosewood Hogue smooth combats are waiting for it with open arms as soon as it gets out of BRC jail. Born 1982. Looks nicer than my wife at 40!

Im spending a month in the Idaho wilderness with my two kids (2 and 3) and smokin hot wife this summer, so I picked up an anti-critter gun on my lunch break today. $765, I think its a killer deal, how about you? Ruger Super Redhawk in .480 Ruger with a Swift 2X scope. Ill be casting and realoading for it.

Not sure I would want to try acquiring a charging bear target through a pistol scope, especially with my smoking hot wife and 2 and 3 year old kids behind me. Just sayin'.

Haha, true. Ill have to see how it works with the scope. I have long arms so I wouldnt be surprised if the eye reliefe is way off.

Taurus 905 came home yesterday, expect to get out Wednesday to see how it handles. Timing and lockup is better than expected, meaning it's tight and timed very well. So I have reasonable expectations for this one.

Ok, finally got the .480 Ruger Super Redhawk out of the gun store. Took the scope off as it as it just felt wrong, made the gun too big and slow to aim for me. Pulled out all the revolvers (J-frame is my CC). In the process of comparing the size of the NAA Mini Master (22LR/22WMR) to the 480, I noticed the 2X scope looked nice by the NAA. Then I noticed the milled vent groves on the barrel could have scope rings mounted to them. Then I remembered this is a long eye relief scope. Then I remembered I wanted to make a kydex holster to bolt the NAA onto my ESEE Junglas. Hear me out, 2x scoped NAA single action 22 mounted on the outside of my hiking knife. The knife is a beast, worth its weight in gold for wood processing (I prefer it over a hatchet), and has a great sheath. Kydex is easy to work with, and I often wish I had a 22 rifle to go plinking with on overnight hikes/camp outs. I dont like bringing my 10/22 because its just too big/heavy to justify for entertainment, but the NAA is another story. Possible small game getter too.
