Possible Gun Buy Back in Seattle

I was watching Q13 fox this morning and a possible gun buyback was briefly mentioned for the Seattle area. From what I know, this will most likely be done in a public place. Is it alright if we offer higher than what they would be getting for their rifles?

Only concern would be that some of what you buy might be stolen. Other than that I like the idea.

Haha, I have always wanted to set up a little stand at one of those saying "GUN BUY BACK TO SAVE LIVES" Little do they know it would go to the home protection department

That could be the case with buying any used gun. Ask to see some ID and get a bill of sale like any private firearm transaction. If they are not willing to do that then I would pass.
