I thought it was the barrel profile. If it is, that'd be where a lot of weight is coming from. I've never seen a free float tube under the plastic handguards before. Is that common?

I have seen some before, mainly for High Power competition shooters.

Some of the weight is also in the butt stock, it says that it's weighted.

itgoesboom is right. The weight in the buttstock is typically 3lbs of lead. It is shaped to fit tightly inside the buttstock, but can be easily removed through the trapdoor. You can also cut it/drill it to make it lighter if you are looking to balance the rifle.
