You don't understand. The original question that started this thread was not if there are any FFL's Portland.

The question is whether there are any FFL's in Portland selling out of their residence.

I was wondering if anyone could confirm if such a FFL existed in Portland.

Those are all gunsmiths. The first one on the list even has an expired license.

Again, the original question was whether there were retail sales of guns being done out of homes in Portland. And my follow up question was whether anyone knew of such a dealer operating out of Portland.

Have you done business with any of these people? Do you know for a fact that they are selling guns out of their home?

That is the follow-up that I am asking. If anyone has actual knowledge of a FFL selling guns out of their home in Portland. Can you confirm that one of these men is?

Or are they just gunsmiths?

WTH, get on the phone and call a couple of them?!

Home occupation permit is covered by this and is not needed by a FFL

"including but not limited to zoning ordinances"

Do you have an FFL in Portland?
Do you have a business license in Portland?
Do you have a home occupation permit in Portland?
Is your business name on the Oregon State Registry?
Have you ever been involved in the process, in Portland?

The State Preemption Clause covers all of this.

The City cant do anything to stop FFL's inside of city limits from operating.

They call it a FEDERAL firearms license not a Portland firearms license

Before the Clintons came along there were lots of FFLs working out of their homes. People were able to sell enough to start up a business in a store. It was good for commerce but the liberals just didnt want a lot of gun dealers so they changed the rules.

At one point it seemed as if they wouldn't even give you a FFL without a store front but the government must have been losing big dollars so they made it possible to get an FFL without a store front.
