PPB: Man breaks into home, shot by resident in NE Portland

A man was shot by a resident after breaking into a home early Saturday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

"[officers] used a tourniquet on the arm of the man. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

"As officers were treating the man, a resident called and said they were involved. Officers learned the resident shot the man after he entered their home. The resident is cooperative, and the investigation is ongoing.

"From what we heard there was someone kind of yelling 'get out of my house,'"

I think this is the same one someone else posted? Still LOVE seeing good news. The way things are going in the crap hole I am surprised this is not a daily thing now. If it became one you can bet the crime would slow way down
