Portland International Auto Show 2020 and CCW

I am heading to the Portland International Auto Show this weekend at the Oregon Convention Center. Anybody know if there are metal detectors? Is it OK to wear my CCW?

There's nothing listed on their website that pertains to guns being restricted, and no mention of metal detectors.

Just a suggestion, ALWAYS have a backup plan to secure your weapon should there be detector portals.

I attended "The One Mototcycle Show and Race" a couple of weeks ago at the Veterans Coliseum, and they were doing the full metal detector and empty the pockets thing. They would not let anyone in with even a pen knife, and were giving claim tickets for them at a check station. I told the staff manning the station that this was not going to work and I did not think they wanted me to empty my pockets there, then showed my CCP. They gave me a special arm band and ushered me in.
