This was posted a little while ago on the Oregon Firearms Federation facebook page. For those of you interested in attending, its on Friday, October 11, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Hollywood Theater.

    Hello Mr. Starrett,

I was given your name by Dave Miller, host of OPB's Think Out Loud. We wanted to let you know about an upcoming discussion about gun rights taking place next Friday. We would love to have a diverse range of informed folks at the event, and especially want gun owners to be well represented. Here is the overview:

    -------------------------------------------------------------

On Friday, October 11 at 7 PM, please join us for "The Shape of Story," an interactive screening at the Hollywood Theatre. Focused on the subject of gun rights, this Design Week Portland event will feature short films exploring the many sides of the issue, contributed by University of Oregon's Multimedia Journalism master's program, Oregon Public Broadcasting, The Oregonian, Periscopic, and filmmaker Skye Fitzgerald. A new, smartphone-enabled web application created by Second Story will be used to gather audience feedback and facilitate dialogue. David Miller, host of OPB's "Think Out Loud," will moderate a discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers after the presentation.

Parts of the evening may not be suitable for children.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Hollywood Theatre.
