Seconded. Mine sound like a cannon being fired.

I usually just wear a pair of cheapo silencio in-ear plugs, but will occasionally don the cheapo muffs I got a Walmart years ago. I just don't like the way they pinch on my safety glasses, so I don't wear them all the time.
