And I don't take the critiques personally.
This is a volatile subject with a lot of people. Channel that energy into action. Call your legislator. Be willing to knock on doorbells in your neighborhood, talk to your neighbors (Uh, for some of us that would require getting to know your neighbors..) and be prepared to VOTE.
We all know people who find any excuse for not voting. When someone whines to me for more than 30 seconds that they hate the governor or the president and wonder why the NRA didn't stop something....and then tell me they didn't vote....that's the end of the conversation. And trust me, I've had a lot of conversations like that. It's sad.
You guys (and ladies) who voted here, good for you! You're the backbone.
