Cherrier was booked on charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of a weapon. Bail was set at $20,000.

Probably wasn't legal to own a gun? If he is, they don't have a case.

Sounds like it was more or less him being accused of causing alarm simply by open carrying. Really? That means parked cars cause people to fear for their lives because they might get hit!

Is a library considered a federal building? Is it prohibited to carry in public libraries in OR?
