The number of law enforcement officers shot to death in the line of duty rose more than 50% in 2014, the law enforcement group said in a report <broken link removed> .

The misinformed would be shocked to read that! A whole 50% increase! OMG, let us ban all the guns! Clicking the report and actually reading it reveals the numbers of this increase:

In 2013, a total of 5 Ambushes occurred
In 2015, a total of 15 Ambushes occurred

No death of a Peace Officer is warranted, and even 5 is 5 too many. That said, Eric Holder is being too overly dramatic and fear mongering with the quote above. Statistically, ROOFERS AND PILOTS have a higher chance of death on the job than a Police Officer. Perspective, people. There are so many cops out there who have never been shot at or have had to draw their own firearm; as a profession it is actually pretty safe.

The timing of this report fits the ATF narrative of banning anything it wants. Watch as references to this report are made throughout the media as a reason to ban guns.

And the real kicker? The majority of those ambushes occurred in the most unfriendly gun state in America: California. Who would have thunk it? I thought that laws restricting gun ownership --- as found in California --- would reduce violence!

Obama, Sharpton and Holder have done more to make people believe that racism is the worst it's ever been even when the KKK was active. The police are are basically moving, almost defenseless targets who are screwed if they defend themselves.
The following should be taught to every kid each year they are in school... When an Officer says "STOP" - you fricken turn into a statue or you risk getting shot. When an officer says "FREEZE" you better be an ice cube or you will get shot. If you are dumb enough to charge a cop you WILL get shot. It you are stupid enough to shoot at a cop expect multiple cops WILL shoot back AND if you are dumb enough to kill a cop they will hunt you down like the dog you are and I can only hope you will not be breathing by the time you make it to the station.
We pay BIG tax dollars for these guys to keep the scum balls off the street and I for one believe they should be able to protect themselves against stupid people and bad guys REGARDLESS OF COLOR

It's kinda brilliant if you think about it.

1) Split the country economically and ideologically.

2) Incite Race related riots.

3) Blame the police to add fuel to the fire.

4) Ban weapons and ammo when local police are killed.

5) Federal Police Force enacted for the "protection" of the people.

If this were a movie plot we'd all be sitting there thinking how stupid it is, but it's actually happening.
