Plinking on the Coast

We're planning a trip down to the coast - somewhere near Rockaway area, in the next 2 months. Other than backtracking into the forest, say along Hwy 6, are there any decent places to shoot in the Rockaway/Tillamok area that anyone would care to share? Preferably places where I'll be more likely to encounter nice folks than the hooligans. I've searched the shooting thread and haven't yet found anything. Also, if there are any local ranges that would allow visitors, that would be great too.

I do know about Brown's Camp, but was wondering if that was really the only option.

From Tillamook you don't have to go all the way to Browns camp just to shoot. Keenig Creek or Jones Creek has lots of areas down the gravel roads.
