Thanks, just did. I also advise people to write your congressman directly! I can't believe only a little over 12K signatures have been recorded since December 17th. Hopefully we'll get more once the holidays are over.

I signed it, but it didn't do anything to the signature count, nor did my name "ballon" show up, even after several page refreshes...

They'll ignore the thing anyway, just like they always do. (That's a slam on THEM, not the petitioners)

Just figured it out! They send you an email to the address you put in when you "signed" it. You have to click on the link to verify your a real person.

I have signed these before. All I get is a nasty e mail back from them months later that basically says that they don't care what I think and they will continue to degrade the contry with socialist corruption... But what the hell, I miss our chats...

Thank God the Republicans hold the majority. Our fight will be more at the state level, that's where Bloomberg is pouring his cash into.

Done! I don't think signing the petition itself will do much, but also don't think the AWB has enough steam to overcome our current GOP majorities. We will see what EO's come out n the next week or so on gun control though.
