These new carry laws will be a disaster for CHL holders if they pass. This image is just one of many examples as to why:

Also, call your legislators and ask them about this. Ask them how to tell what is and what is not school property. They can not provide an honest answer.

I carry and don't use Facebook,twitter,or flicker. The state needs to pick a color like the red used for firelanes and start painting the curbs to show boundries!:s0114:
 
This is a serious issue considering the lack of identification as to what is, and what is not, school property. For example, there is a Pizzicato over by PSU that is connected to a PSU building. Would carrying there be a felony or not. How about the park blocks? Are the sidewalks in Southwest owned by the school or by the city? In Beaverton, the school district owns property that has a Wells Fargo office on it. Is that school grounds? There are classes held in the building next door. This whole thing is a mess.

But the bigger picture is that there is currently no problem with CHL holders endangering the public. A dad picking his kid up from school, that happens to have a CHL, is no threat to anyone. Yet, these laws will make him a felon.
