Ive recently been given a can of IMR 4227, DuPont owned rectangular metal can. Its about half full, made some loads less than current load books suggest because ive read it has been recently changed. They worked great just unburnt powder in the casing. I'm guessing the can is from the 80's? So anyone with those old books please provide any 38/357, .223/.308 load info. I ask for rifle because I heard the old stuff was good in rifle loads. Any info on the stuff would be appreciated as well.
Thanks guys! Still new to loading, all my stuff and what I can get a hold of is accurate for the last 10 years or so.

My Lyman 46th Manual (printed Sept 1989) shows some for 357 and for a couple of cast bullets in the 308. What weights of bullets would you use?

Thanks Orygun, for .357 I've got almost every jacketed weight. But more interested in 125, and 158g loads. As for .308, no cast bullets in the cabinet, all speer/nosler. What weight does it list for.308?
