Looking for a place to shoot relatively close to Vancouver WA, I see on TNL they have some spots in Camas but no clue if any of them are accessible with regular vehicles, I drive a Scatpack Charger and need something with relatively easy road to traverses.

Tried to go to Lower L1500 Rd 1 and I HAD 0 LUCK with the road being even accessible with my Durango (when I had it), so I'm looking for something like TNL with a spot that has some road access for regular vehicles.

I am a gun content YouTuber on YouTube obviously who has 110,000 subscribers and would like to be able to post more content out, me moving from Southern Oregon to Washington, I have 0 idea on where to go shooting that has somewhat easy road access. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll reply later. Just getting off work and have an hour + drive.

But in short, I can't think of anything near here without gravel and a few pot holes.

Would they be suitable for a Charger? I don't mind some gravel, just nothing with crazy pot holes, and super bad gravel.

It should be fine for a Charger, if you enter from Skamania Mines Rd on 412th. If you enter from the Jones Creek Trailhead parking lot, you'll have a much longer drive with more pot holes to deal with.

Note: As of today, there is only 1 place left to shoot at on the lower L1500 Rd (412th). DNR sent me a message today and said they closed the 2nd spot, just down from the first one when your coming in from Skamania Mines Rd. I just made the change on the Trash No Land interactive map. There may be evidence at the other two spots, but those are also closed due to no backstop (yet people still shoot there). The one spot that's left is a good one and perfectly legal to shoot at, however we may loose that too due to lack of keeping it clean (along with other illegal stuff that goes on there).

I don't know how video-recording-friendly it would be, but there's always English Pit if you want a properly constructed range: http://www.englishpit.com/

I used it a lot before I got a TCGC membership and the WA laws changed significantly. It's a nice little public range for bench rest shooting at 100 yards or less.

I've only ever been to Jones Creek. It was great! Lots of turnouts to shoot in. But I have never went by myself and only went the one time. It was pretty far up with lots of deep potholes. Not a problem for my Subaru. But next time I go, I want to stop in the shooting areas about half way that far up.

Charger will make it to the Jones Creek pits uphill from JC ohv staging area, road is good, one right hand switchback gets deeply washboarded on the inside, just take the corner out wide.

I just got a Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and thinking that'd be better to take, do I just put in Jones Creek OHV, and follow that on maps?

Jones creek you'll be fine! If my civic hybrid has made countless trips there you'll be just fine. Just take it slow and wander around the bigger bird baths 🤣 was just up last night in my pilot because my wife and kids love trying to see the northern lights.

Going in my Alfa tomorrow!

That being said, just put in Jones Creek OHV and follow it? Think a Alfa Romeo Stelvio would do fine? If the road is what people say it is.

Yep, start at the OHV parking lot and head up the 1600, if you dont see anything you like then take a left on the 1500 at the intersection. Guessing maybe a mile before you find the first couple pits. You should be fine on a weds as far as it being crowded. The roads are gravel with some easily avoidable potholes. Here is a map of the area for reference. You will be on the black marked forest roads, not the ATV/MX trails. Have fun and post that channel!
