Hello everyone, great forum here lots of interesting info, Im new to the northwest (well new to America in general) Been in this fine country for two years and im just getting into shooting again (originally from the northwest of the uk by way of northern ireland).
Well im just wondering if anyone can help me find some good places to shoot in the beaverton/hillsboro area. Alot of people i work with have suggested browns camp, but from looking up the infomation online it seems that browns camp gets quite crowded. Any infomation would be helpful thanks.

Thank you for the info, Tri-county Gun club looks pretty good, I have shot at a couple of ranges while in Oregon although most of the time i have shot on private land (with permission of course)
Im mainly just looking for places to go plinking really, and ranges and clubs get pretty expensive, as i say im very new to the area and unfortunatly all my friends and family here are not interested in shooting so im kinda on my own.
Thank you for the infomation I will check this place out when i have more money.
    Happy Shooting.

Thanks for the info, Im gonna check out scogin valley road sometime over the weekend.
I mentioned the place to a co-worker of mine and he told me there is no actual backstop at this location.
So im guessing it much be quite a large area if its still safe to shoot
    is this correct?

Have to go and taka a look. Looking at their web site their price seems a bit steep and the range also seems a bit limited. You really cannot tell from the pictures so I will try and go this week to take a real look. Also looks like only pistols and 22lr.

It's a big big valley now, I haven't been there in a few Eris and they logged the deal out of it, there's a couple stood with some nice dirt mounds as back stops.

Did you make it out to Beaver Creek spider? I still try and give people the benefit of the doubt. Still... The web site does not look too promissing but I also understand not everyone can put up a great web site. Do you know how to get out to that valley? I'm willing to burn the gas if you are willing to go sometime. I

I dont want to say anything bad about beavercreek armory but lets just say i think i'll give their indoor range and membership a miss.

I still have not had time to get out to scogin valley road. If i take 47 and turn onto scogin valley road which one of the logging roads do i have to take to get to the shooting spot?

also from looking at the maps of hagg lake and surrounding area all the land appears to be private property is this correct?

    thanks -james
