Pitman & Robinson act guns & ammo excise tax

    In 1937 congress passed a law that every box of ammo and gun be taxed to fund fish and wildlife agencies per state for conservation of wildlife. So... every time you go target practice you help a critter.:thumbup:

    Then I have helped 1,000,000's or critters! And I'l help 1,000,000's more once I get my FFL! :D

    We sure do. Sportsmen have done more good for critters than 99% of the bunny hugger/antis. The federal duck stamp is another good example.

    and that is why ODFW has such nice buildings in salem,
    why we have to pay to park at parks,
    why tag's keep going up and up.
    because we take care of it for every one else

    So true Saxon so true....But lets not forget about that a good portion of our ha ha lands we cant access....Butt they have nice buildings...Really good artwork too.

    Fishing tackle also has a 10% Federal tax
