.40 what? Longshot is a good match for 40 S&W and Sportsman's Warehouse in Hillsboro had it for at least a week and may still have more of it.

10mm came to mind first as an alternative.

We deal in exactness and clarity in what we do with tiny margins for error. You'll excuse me for asking for clarity before giving what I expect is the likely answer.

And clarity is called for. Myself, I say 9 too much perhaps.
And powders.. Red Dot can be used to load about everything under the sun.. especially target to mid- range.. from .25acp to .44 magnum when it comes to handguns. It's used in rifle and of course shotgun as well.

I have some powder that is old. Maybe 15-20 years old. Is it still ok to use?

How does it smell? you will know if it is bad....

4 of 6 had no odor. I'm guessing those are safe and the ones that had an off smell aren't.

Major / open gun?
I use VV for major 9
I CANNT find the Sillo and wanna try it, I hear about 8.3grs will make major with a plated 124gr .
