Based on your pics, I'd guess that it is late 1800's and European made. It also appears to have been refinished in that matte black finish as guns of that era tended to be blued or nickle plated.
You should check for stampings on the cylinder which would be visible through the loading gate as you rotate the cylinder. These could give more precise information about where and when it was made.
