Ya, I'm kind of thinking I'll just shoot it for a bit.

I would too. If It was a high end gun or held some special meaning to me I might think about a stamp or whatever. But just some cheap-o Saiga wannabe? Nah man, I'd run it like I stole it.

My thoughts were if you could get into a shotgun cheap enough, spend the 200 bucks to have a short barrel shotgun it can be as short as you want and put whatever you want on it

Well ya, there's also that! Except making these things really short requires a lot of work. Cutting up the gas tube, relocation of gas block, etc etc. I could just hack off 4-6 inches though. Which I'm considering.

I do dumb things with inexpensive guns, it's kind of a hobby of mine! I couldn't tell you if they were more fun before or after.
