    Just looking at the pictures. And yes it looks to be waffenamt marked. Eagle over 135 And eagle over swastika.

    those marking significantly affect the value of the gun -- you have a nice collector's piece there!

    The more paperwork and documentation you can assemble re its history and chain of custody the more it is worth to collectors. Good luck!

    the proof marks on the slide would always be there unless it was refinnished the import marks would be small on the frame inside the slide rail under the barrel company name and state of importer

    I have the barrel and locking assembly in my hand and there is a 601 engraved in the top of the locking assembly and directly below that is what appears to look like a cursive n or r. Eagle on one side and the Eagle with 135 on the other. No markings internally on the slide itself. This pistol has not been refinished!
