Ditto. More specifically, I'd love a Mateba automatic revolver in .44 Magnum or .454 Casull. Sort of a modern spin on the old Webley–Fosbery. Alas, I could never get past the gasp-inducing sticker shock on those that come up for auction.

Some coverage in this video, should it be of interest:

Good info. And yeeeesh, no kidding on the sticker shock!

On the topic of revolver carbines, here are the Russian MTs-569 in 12.7x55mm (top) and the MTs-570 in 9x39mm (bottom). Not a fan of all the pic rails, but neat concept.

The problem with revolver long guns is the fact that one of the shooter's arms is extended past the cylinder gap when shooting. Any blast from the gap can burn unprotected skin, and fragments of a shaved bullet from misalignment could do even greater damage.

So... Extend the cylinder all the way so that it becomes literally a 6 barreled revolving long gun? :s0140:

Modern take on the Alofs reloading system for break action shotguns. At the price point I might have to give it a shot.

I just watched a YT vid on how those work. Talk about a Rube Goldberg design! I have absolutely no need for such a complicated piece of hardware.

But I want one anyway, dammit. 🤣

Yeah, the original design was weird and clunky, but the modern version appears to be much better. It uses a lever to pivot the shell loader from the magazine to the chamber as you manipulate the action, so you don't have to flip the loader manually. If you skip to 3:00 in this video it shows how that works:
