Ditto. More specifically, I'd love a Mateba automatic revolver in .44 Magnum or .454 Casull. Sort of a modern spin on the old Webley–Fosbery. Alas, I could never get past the gasp-inducing sticker shock on those that come up for auction. Not gonna lie, that's pretty slick. Kinda want one.

So... Extend the cylinder all the way so that it becomes literally a 6 barreled revolving long gun?The problem with revolver long guns is the fact that one of the shooter's arms is extended past the cylinder gap when shooting. Any blast from the gap can burn unprotected skin, and fragments of a shaved bullet from misalignment could do even greater damage.
Wouldn't that make it a Ybarrrrrrrrra?View attachment 2018550
Spanish (Ybarra) Model 1854 .75-caliber musket conversion, percussion type, with 11" barrel. (I suddenly have the overwhelming urge to say "arrrrrrrrrr".)
If it'd been made by Ruger the barrel would be longer. They needed it that long so they could write the full name of their group on the side of it!
I just watched a YT vid on how those work. Talk about a Rube Goldberg design! I have absolutely no need for such a complicated piece of hardware.Modern take on the Alofs reloading system for break action shotguns. At the price point I might have to give it a shot.

Yeah, the original design was weird and clunky, but the modern version appears to be much better. It uses a lever to pivot the shell loader from the magazine to the chamber as you manipulate the action, so you don't have to flip the loader manually. If you skip to 3:00 in this video it shows how that works:I just watched a YT vid on how those work. Talk about a Rube Goldberg design! But I want one anyway, dammit.![]()
