Petition on WH WeThePeople website quickly gaining signatures for gun control

The pro gun control petition has already 50+k signatures. The pro gun rights one is bellow 1000. I posted this to my friends, but most of them believe banning all guns will solve future problems and I do not expect much support.

I say we ban spoons because we don't want more fat people, we ban planes because of 9/11, and we get rid of cars because too many people die in car accidents.

Too many ignorant people out there and I am sad to say (I hope I am wrong) that we are probably gonna see another "assault weapon" ban and high capacity restrictions on magazines.

They can cry all they want to. Congress still remembers 1994. Nationally, this is a dead issue.

I'm a lot more worried about Senator Klein D-Seattle and Jay Inslee than I am anything on the federal level.
