This thread got me thinking we should remember the pets themselves, not just being put down.

Post a pic of your former pet(s), name and a bit about them.

Keegan. 1st family pet and my childhood dog. Water baby who could climb rock walls and light bouldering. Dedicated family dog that wanted nothing more than a Kong throw and belly rub using feet. My best friend growing up and today between my sisters and I we own 4 Goldens in the family. I think it set a precedence.

I had to help him to the Rainbow Bridge the end of May.

Gone but not forgotten. Found her near death in the railroad yard I worked at, took her home & nursed her back to health. She disappeared into the night, claimed by the coyotes.
