Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Do any of you use a Pelican case for AR's-M4's with optics?
Broken into upper and lower, or complete?
What cases would you use, to transport 2 at a time?
I would love to be able to afford a pelican case that held 2 rifles. That's gotta be close to $300?
I just use a cheapo 'gun guard ' plastic case and make sure it's sitting in a safe spot in the truck
But unless you go aluminum.I don't think you'll find a better case than the Pelicans.
What is your gun worth?
I am assuming you are talking about flying?
I would check also to see if any issues transporting AR's and M4's and if the airlinie has a list of approved cases.
Not sure what they charge . Also check if they require ammo to be in a different case
If just in your car - I use the soft sided bag that my gun came with and place it inside the cardboard box it all came in. Then wrap it in blankets.
