I have a partly finished (perhaps 80%) black walnut SKS stock I was making. There is a small knot at the back that I did not see at first so I held off finishing it.

I thought it might be a good project for someone to finish or learn about gunstock fitting. It will need the internal sections sanded or filed for fit. The front still needs to be hollowed out with something like a dremel sanding drum. The rear needs the most work to fit the buttplate.

Then finish sanding and coating. This wood usually looks good with just true oil or BLO.

New upper handguard comes with it. free
