My firearms are for protecting my life and the lives of my family, my insurance makes no requirements of me to defend my property with my life.

Assault in the 1st Degree? This is the very thing wrong with our justice system. That man should be charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER.

If I point a gun at someone, that's Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon. But shooting at someone should be Attempted Murder, no question. This guy will be out in just a few years and will probably do it again...but the next property owner might not be so lucky.

So mad....I'm beyond words. A guy shoots at cops and they charge him with attempted murder for every bullet he fires. A guy shoots at a homeowner in his own house and he basically gets a stay in Medium custody for four years, playing ping-pong, basketball, lifting weights and planning more crimes.

She'll probably get supervision with only jail time to serve before her trial...

Due to the 3-strike laws, we've got guys in prison for life doing nothing but getting into bar fights while these scumbags will be out in time before our next President runs for re-election. Anyone see anything wrong with that? I do.
