Had government done it's job properly, especially after the Patriot Act, how many lives could have been saved?
Philadelphia shooter - Government allows a drug dealing felon to have guns and injure 6 police.
Parkland, Fl - Government ignores outcry from local and national threats about the shooter. They fail to act.
Sutherland Springs, Tx - Government fails to properly report or classify the gunman, allowing him access to guns.
San Bernardino, Ca - Government doesn't properly vet an immigrant and Ca, allows access to illegally modified guns

Those are just a small example, where if government had done a nickels worth of their job where they promised if we gave up our rights they would keep us safe, many people would be here today and those events would never have happened regardless of my guns.

Mandatory "government buyback"... let's break that down a bit.

The government has no money until they TAKE taxes from the wage earning (and gun owning) citizens, then government mandates (under threat of force) that you turn in your guns and they (inadequately) compensate you with the money they already took from you..... check.

Yeah, lemme get right on that train..... not. o_O:rolleyes:
