Yep, I think I need one. Where'd you get the stock?

I did too... I was given a lot of 22-250 brass and ammo and had no gun for it.
My original plan was a HB gun using a Mauser action , but a stock would have to be made and that takes a couple months
and then I found the M82 stock on Flea Bay and it all became clear after I did some research, it uses the 98 action and has a heavy Barrel channel . The barrel free floated nicely once I cut out some old bedding compound from the stock.
Funny thing, I had picked up a PH adjustable trigger at The Big Tulsa Gun show last April for 25 bucks,
and it was the correct trigger. The rail wasn't available so I made it... The stock crossbolt is a Mauser crossbolt , it fit perfectly.

I got mine off e-bay , but the guy is the Old Western Scrounger and he has them for sale on his site !
I had to sand it and steam lots of dents out and sand it more before putting the oil finish on it ... it was beat up , but is English Walnut under the bad exterior .
