For sale are two Baofeng UV-5R handheld radios. These are capable of operating on VHF frequencies 136-174 MHz, and UHF frequencies 400-470MHz. They are easily programmable by computer (with a cable, about $8) and CHIRP software (free download).
I can set them up for you to work on 2m/70cm ham if you have a license, or FRS or MURS* frequencies if you don't. They are easy to reprogram down the road if you do get a license.
One is black and has the standard 1800mAh battery, the other is red and has the extended 3800mAh battery. Both are new in box and come with all the accessories (antenna, charger, manual, etc.).
$25 each or $45 for both.
* If you haven't heard of MURS, look it up. It is seriously the best kept secret in radio and every outdoorsman/prepper/etc. should have some.
